| It all began when we were in Shantiniketan hunting for book ideas, and painter Tyeb Mehta all so generously screened for us his 1970 film Koodal—an artist's film! And now it has shaped into a new film club, which will locate and screen for its members special packages of films by artists, films on the arts, retrospectives of directors and actors and actresses, packages around themes and issues, besides the usual lot of film classics and masterpieces from home and abroad. |
